JNJ & Stephen Foster Day

Many thanks to the committee at JOCKEYS & JEANS and the PDJF for allowing me the privilege to help support the racing community. The riders we recognize today are the sports greatest examples of determination and strength against odds. Our thanks and appreciation is beyond words.

And what more fitting a date then the splendor of Stephen Foster Day!
Follow the festivities on NBC and Peacock from 4PM to 6 PM EST

We’ve teamed in the past on popular racing websites and I’m very excited for us to be paired together again here at Past The Wire. My great thanks to both Kate and site publisher Jon Stettin.

Jockeys N Jeans ’22

The fundraiser “Jockeys and Jeans” was developed by a core group consisting of retired jockeys Barry Pearl, Mike Manganello, Darrell Brown, Eddie Donnally and the first female jockey to win an American stakes race, Barbara Jo Rubin. The organization and its event have raised over $13 million. Yet with today’s medical costs rising at a gallop, more is needed. Much more. Read the article by turf writer Kate Richards on pastthewire.com. Souvenir poster signed by attending HOF jockeys and guests created by the AE SABO STUDIO.
